This book is a little slow to start off but once you get into it, you won’t be able to put it down. The contents of it filled me with questions that had me begging for answers. The ending satisfied with a twist and, what I felt was, a shocking conclusion.
Stellaluna by Janell Cannon
This children’s book brings me back to the good old days. I remember being read this book when I was a child, and now I read it to my children. It’s not too short and features fruit bats in a child friendly way. The beginning may come off a little frightening to some children, but the end has a heartwarming conclusion.
Such a hidden treasure at the library. The bug catching kit was loved by me and all my kids! It even got my teenager out and playing in the grass! We loved collecting bugs and looking at them in the magnifying viewer before setting them free, back to their homes. It’s perfect for toddlers who quickly cycle through toys and there’s none of the commitment of buying it for them to use it once in a blue moon before eventually donating after three uses.
